Lexus RCF GT3 - Misano Q + R sets
Lexus RC F GT3
Misano
- 23 °C
- 28 °C
Includes
- Quali setup + data (1:33.235)
- Race setup + data (1:33.960) (done with ~98L)
Remarks
- The Q set is stable, as you would expect with the Lexus, but it requires some throttle control in S1, so that makes it even more fun! On a more serious note, I've noticed that in some corners a lot of trial braking is needed, while in other corners you want to throw the car in by bleeding off the brakes fairly fast. This is also the case for the race set but less pronounced, trial braking is a lot more important then. Another thing I noticed is that the car likes to use lower gears in certain corners. This can be seen in the rpy files; I was playing around with it quite a lot and I think that the gears used in my Q lap are the best for this car on this track.
- The Race set is made for an hour long race (106L) and it turns! Somewhat unexpected for me, but the car is a joy to drive around here. It might be quite off the pace, but at least you can have a nice engine screaming at you for an hour :D.
- For shorter races, I recommend using the Q set with a bit less negative toe and probably with TC3.
- As for certain changes that might be needed for the sets, I really don't have any. The car is planted, somewhat alright on curbs and predictable. Otherwise, read the general setup changes down below.
Replays
- The quali lap is done in the last lap of the replay file
- The race lap is done in the last lap of the replay file
