- Race setup + data (45L) (1:43.0) v1.9.8 -32kg LFM BOP
Description v1.9.8
- The quali set has got a lot of mid/high speed rotation which comes at a cost of slow speed traction. This is mainly due to the negative rear toe, so if you find yourself struggling for traction in the last corner of S2 for example, try increasing the rear toe.
- The race set is a much safer version of the quali setup, made to have the same balance for the 25min of fuel it has. It might feel understeery at first but that should slowly move to a nicer balance as the rears get completely murdered on this track (:
Includes:
(Outdated)
- Quali setup + data (1:43.0) v1.9.5
- Race setup + data (25min~50L) (1:43.6) v1.9.5
- Race setup + data (+-1h) (1:44.3) v1.9.5 -5kg LFM BOP
Description (outdated)
The quali setup is very much the limit of pace I could find, so it might be a bit too much. However, it floats over the curbs in the chicane and the rotation in S2 is brilliant. Letting go of the brakes is challenging, but you'll get used to it after a bit!
The 1h race setup is super stable, doesn't slide with the right approach and even has a bit of pace! It was quite a challenge making this setup feel right but also have some pace and tire wear... well, the third one is near impossible with the Honda, especially hear on WG. The left rear is struggling quite a lot. A small note on the BB and TC, I went quite high on the BB, since it helps lower the rear brake temps ever so slightly. TC is all about personal preference, I liked 5/2 most, shortly followed by 6/0. Both are quite on edge however. I would advise to first try 7/0 or 6/2 to see what kind of TC you prefer most. Minute 15-25 is the worst part of the stint.
Those -5kg are not very influential of the car at all, so don't be afraid to use the setup without any BoP applied.
Replay
- Quali lap is done somewhere at the end of the replay file
- Race laps are done somewhere at the end of the replay file
Any general setup changes to decrease oversteer/improve stability:
- decrease the rear ride height
- decrease the rear anti-rollbar
- increase the differential
- decrease the front bumpstop range
