Info
So my new favourite car dropped, the Maserati. It's a tricky car on the brakes and needs very little forcing around. The traction with TC off is perfect on all tracks, so long you're in second gear.
I enjoy using 14 steer ratio on all tracks, but if the car is still too sensitive on the front end, 15 might be worth trying.
For the track in general, braking as straight as possible is the best thing to do in this car, then throw it in with minimal steering angle. You really do not want to overdrive the front tires. In corners like T3, Signes and basically the whole of S3 apart from the last 2 braking zones, braking diagonally is in my opinion the best way to aproach those corners. 100% brakes is too much in the diagonal braking zones, everywhere else it should still be doable.
The LFM race set can also be used for Quali if its too unstable.
Replay
- The quali and the LFM lap replay should both be somewhere near the end of the rpy files.
Setup changes
Any general setup changes to decrease oversteer/improve stability:
- decrease the rear ride height
- decrease the rear anti-rollbar
- increase the differential
- decrease the front bumpstop range
