April 19th 2023 - Patch 1.9.0

Been a while!

Welcome to 1.9, and being slow! This car has never been a car I've been super familiar with but figured I might experiment with the new patch and see what happens, in this case I've discovered this thing is a bit more fun with how free the TC behaves now. Around here it seems to be a fairly good all rounder with some more familiar stability than the fresh cars to 1.9 and might be an easier introduction to the new patch; even though we know it's going to be full grids of 992's and 296's. Nothing really stands out as problematic with this car here, and it sure is refreshing seeing red on the sliders for the first time in god knows how long.

Notes:

- 2/0 TC seems to be my personal favourite, 1/8 feels like it cuts excessively now at least in my eyes. 3/0 works but can bog a bit. 1/0 is drift car
- Could use a lower diff preload and / or slower steer ratio, the current feeling is a bit bandaid fix to still trying to learn 1.9. Most noticeable through BBQ
- Abuse BBQ curb, this car is comically good over curbs on this patch that it actually makes me want to cry. No that doesn't include Cheetah
- Lower the rear ride height and stiffen the front spring for an easier driving experience, if you need you can also increase the rear spring a click further to gain back some rotation but you will notice quite a bit more wheel spin
- Race fuel does tend to create quite a bit more rotation in this car than before and may actually need some toneing down if you do add a full tank
