Spa-Francorchamps wasn't necessarily a strong track for the Bentley in the past which hasn't really changed. I believe it still can do 16s but it was quite hard for me to extract. The track exposes some of the car's weaknesses - namely outright top speed, change of directions and high speed cornering speed. But not everything is bad as the car holds its ground in the slower parts of the track with good mechanical grip and decent acceleration. Hence I worked on a predictable setup which doesn't use negative rear toe or min-max approaches.
The tires need time to build up, so take it easy on the out and banker lap. Afterwards you can start to push while the car will kind of tell you how much it can take. It really likes smooth inputs all around, from trail braking over throttle application to steering input. If you're in the hunt for the last few tenth / hundreds, I'd suggest you look into data and replay for switching TCs depending on the corner.
When in a race setting emphasize on corner exits on to the straights. You might pull away just enough before the trailing cars will catch up. If you want to feel slightly less like a sitting duck, you could reduce the rear wing by 2 clicks but beware that you will lose more time in the middle sector if you don't already prefer low downforce settings.
Electronics:
TC 2, 3, 4 can work for Qualifying
TC 2, 3, 4, 5 can work for Race
ABS higher if more intervention is needed (especially when struggling with breaking into Turn 7 - Bruxelles)
Adjustments:
- You can adjust brake bias to your liking
- If too oversteery on the brakes, increase brake bias / decrease front bumpstop range
- adjust rear ride height for over/understeer by 1mm steps
- increase rear toe for more stability
- If the rear steps out too much reduce rear anti-roll-bar
- If you struggle with bottoming out, increase front spring stiffnes (front wheel rate) and adjust the rear springs by the same amount to keep the rotation (you will lose a bit of turn-in though)
