Update News:
With the recent Patch (1.8.18), the AMG has been changed a bit.
Generally the Setups should be a bit more stable now in high speed corners, while getting some better turn in slower corners.
The Setups may be adjusted accordingly to get back some rotation in the high speed corners. For example, it feels like the car is tollerating a bit more rake now.
See the tipps below for further possible adjustements.
I have yet to test the Patch in full detail and will update this info with some guidance, once I did more testing myself.
The Setups will be updated aswell, although this process might take a bit of time. For the update process, I'll mostly follow the LFM calendar.
Quali Set + Data (1:42,870)
- Low Fuel Quali Setup
- Updated for Patch 1.8.17
Sprint Race Setup (LFM)+ Data (1:43,245)
- 45l of Fuel for 25min Race
- Updated for Patch 1.8.17
Race Setup + Data (1:44,077)
- 108l of fuel for 60min Race
- Take care of your tyres, the front left in particular. You can make the setup more oversteery to avoid excessive wear on the front through the high speed corners. But that comes with other (obvious) downsides again.
- Updated for Patch 1.8.17
Setup adjustements
- You can adjust TC and BB to your personal preference
- In case of stability issues:
- Reduce Rake (lower rear/higher front)
- Reduce rear ARB/increase front ARB
- Reduce front bump stop range/increase front bump stop rate
- Increase rear bump stop range/reduce rear bump stop rate
- In case of understeer, do the opposite of the above listed changes
