Porsche 992 GT3 Cup Data & Setup Pack for Monza.
Approach
The target is a reliable rear end that will not surprise you and let you know before it lets go. A general issue of the Porsche is too cold fronts and too hot rears. Both will be much better with this setup. The setup is operating without any negative toe and thus gives much more consistent driving behavior than typical eSpOrTs Setups.
Monza
The only challenge here is Ascari, everything else is straight forward. You can use the GT3 braking points and lines. In Ascari make sure to stay away from the right side kerbs, but cut ALL the way over the exit kerb. This is the only way to not bounce, but then there is a lot of lap time. The other challenge are the bumps out of the first chicane and out of ascari. Out of the first chicane you can either drive around the bumps at the end of the exit kerb, or you need to short shift as the car will hit the limiter otherwise in 3rd. Out of Ascari the same thing can happen at the end of the exit kerb, too. Shift up to 5th in time to avoid hitting the limiter here, too.
Adjustments
There is rotation to gain by adding more front camber or more rake.
More oversteer (general/mid turn/exit):
- more front camber
- more rake
- less wing (not a good idea though)
More oversteer (brake/entry):
- reduce brake bias (not advised for the stint, as it wears the rears more under braking)
More understeer
- higher front ride height
- even less front camber
- one extra click of rear wing
Race
The setup should start off rather stable and slowly get more oversteery throughout the stint. The fuel is set for the full hour including formation lap.
