Sebring seems to be a good fit for the Porsche, 2nd and 3rd sector feels good to drive and to nail the exits, dealing with the understeer is key. Datapack is filled with tips and details, aligned together with telemetry and onboard data, hopefully improve your driving on this legendary track! Respect the bumps :)
General Driving Tips
-
T1: Try to be close as possible to the wall before corner entry, Porsche is understeery on entry so you need to carry a bit extra trailbraking going deep into the apex/exit around "0" board on the fence
-
T2-4: Fast threshold braking before 200m board, and patience with steering/brake bleed off focusing in late apex, and avoiding going over curbs to not compromise momentum. Porsche is snappy when changing directions from T2-T3, so mind the snap with throttle control. Important to setup good angle to go early on power to exit T4 maximizing track width (i've over extended a bit on the onboard lap, but i kept grounded)
-
T5: Brake after 400m board, and focus on having a wider entry to prioritize exit, going early on power to rotate the car. Porsche traction here is really good for this corner
-
T8-9: Brake right on 300m board, deep brake trailing and steering input focusing on late apex around the kerb to exit corner complex with good exit speed
-
T10: Stay close as possible to the left-hand curb to setup corner entry (avoid going over it), brake trailing is key to point the car towards the exit, use all the curb on the exit
-
T12-15: Fast Threshold braking and trailing on 300m board to carry momentum on entry and rotation, put tires over the curb but not too much, so it wont give you a cut, going over all 3 curbs helps positioning the car to the next corner in this complex
-
T16: 100m deep trailbraking and negotiating the car towards the middle of the first leg of sunset bend before bringing it as close as possible to the right wall, porsche gets a little light on the rear as you throw around the car, so be a bit patient when attacking it. Go on power once car is settled after heavy load carried from high speed braking
