Time of Day: Default (14:00)

Weather: Quali Default (~30° ambient, ~47° track)

Grip: Default (Green)

Most LFM sessions start with the above default settings, but some do slightly alter. Setup adjustments will not be needed, other than possibly tyre compound changes in wet conditions. 

Setup Notes

Your engine will start to smoke towards the end of the 2nd quali lap in a row. That is okay, you can ignore it. 

Corner By Corner Driving Time

T1/T2 - Brake just after the 100m board in the fence. Take a touch of inside curb, but not too much, then use all of the green turf on the left (T2).

T3 - You can break really late here, nearly at the 50m board. On a quali lap, it's even fine to lock the inside tyre a bit here. Can gain more on entry than on exit!

T4 - Don't use the outside curbs! They slow the car down or even fully beach it.

T5 - Flat out, be smooth on the steering wheel.

T6/T7 - Go down to 3rd briefly to get the car turned, but do it late, so it does not lock the rear axle.

T8 - Take the shortest route possible.

T9/T10 - Keep it in 3rd gear, 2nd makes the rear too upredictable and is slower.

T11/T12 - Off-camber and thighter than you think! Don't take too much curb on entry. Really focus on getting the car as much to the left as possible between both apexes and get on power as early as possible. The big curb on T12 outside can be used a bit, but it will slow the car down a bit.

T13 - Can brake very late! Used 3rd gear briefly to get the car turned, but shift down late to keep the rear stable.

T14 - Shift up to 5th before T14 and keep it there, but to use the brakes to bring to nose of the car down a bit, adding front downforce.

T15 - Out of T14, bring it to the right as quickly as possible. Need to brake in a straightline here as much as possible, otherwise the rear will give you issues. Also be careful on the throttle on exit, if you still have too much steering applied while going on throttle, you will lose traction. 

T16 - It's flat in Quali, but not on used tyres or in dirty air!
