Data Pack Session Settings
Time of Day: Default (14:00)
Weather: Default (~26° ambient, ~39° track)
Grip: Heavy Preset
General Note
- 2nd timed lap is still same speed, if not even faster than first timed one.
- Provided Motec log includes 2 laps too, second one slightly faster than what is shown in video. Laps are nearly identical, but on 2nd lap cut track limits in 2nd chicane were slightly breached.
Setup Notes
Use preload to tune the car to your driving style, but I advise to keep it at a rather high value as provided in the setup for this track.
Higher Preload = Less rotation on entry, more rotation on exit
Lower Preload = More rotation on entry, less rotation on exit
Corner By Corner Driving Guide
T1 - You do not have to use the first curb as extreme as I do, but don't shy away from it either. Car can become a bit unbalanced, but it's worth the amount of time you gain by opening up the exit.
T2 - Always drive the shortest distance.
T3 - Here you HAVE to use the curbs. You can go quite extreme on the first one, but on the second one the cut tracks are a bit stricter, so be careful.
T4/T5 - I take both Lesoms in 4th gear, but feel free to use 3rd yourself too. Just make sure it is a late and controlled downshift to 3rd, as it's easy to unsettle the rear by pulling the trigger too early.
T7/T8 - Don't compensate the entry too much to improve your exit. Just be patient when increasing throttle through the right-kink. You don't want to understeer onto any curb on exit, as left one has strict cut limits and right exit one slows down the car slightly.
T9 - Slow in, fast out. Nowhere this is more true than here. You can to be able to go back to full throttle as early as possible while also not be required to use all the road on the outside. Aim to never have your car go toward the outside curb, but always steer away from it!
