Corner By Corner Driving Guide

T1 - Go onto the outside curb with your outside wheels and start slowing down just as the curb starts. Don't shift down too early, so you avoid getting downshift protection which will make you unable to do the gear change for a few tenths. Ride the inside anti-cut with your inside tyres, do not hit it will front plank / middle of the car. Track cuts is quite lenient on the exit, but you may get an instant penalty if you extent here in the race session. So always make sure to keep 2 wheel on the curbs.

T2/3/4 - Braking point is around 125m, so between both boards. Very important to nail the braking point here, as both too early and too late braking will get you off the ideal line by enough, that your exit will be compromised. Really stay tight through the T2 apex, you want to open up T3/4 as much as possible, which will gain you time all the way down the straight.

T5 - Keep the shortest distance! No need to lose 0.025-0.05 per lap for the sake of taking a "realistic" line.

T6 - Most important corner of the track. Brake a good bit before the 150m board already. And brake hard. You need to get the car slowed down early, so apply all the braking power you have. Towards the apex, the car starts bouncing a bit with all the steering you need to have applied, so if you are still on the brake pedal while that happens, tyres will lock, car will lose balance. Be careful on the throttle past the apex for the same reason. Car is still bouncing a bit, so traction is limited.

T7 - This can be just about flat-out on the first few laps if you apply more steering input than what feels good, but don't force it. The time gain is minimal and your main goal is to have the car setup on the far right, in a straight line, for the braking into T8.

T8/9 - Braking already before the 100m board. Keep it in 3rd. You want to carry too much speed through here, as you already want to setup T10, for which you have to be on the far left again through the T9 kink already.

T9/10 - Use the curb on the left as orientation for then to lift and how to angle the car into 10. If you lift a bit too much, the car may snaps as it gets compressed. But if you lift too little, you will induce too much understeer, which may makes you run wide into rather strict track limits.

T12 - Use the tarmac on the left next to the white line to open up the corner. You really have to fully hook the inside curb here as it helps to rotate the car massively.

T13 - Keep it in 3rd gear! Lots happening to the car, no need to cause further instability with the downshift into 2nd. It's fine if your inside tyre locks up a bit, as long as you can keep the inside as much as possible. Corner has much camber, so the further away you are from the inside curb, the less the car will turn and the slower you will go.

T14/15 - See that orange anti-cut on the right? Don't hit that.

T16 - Difficult braking zone, rear always wants to snap a bit. Always make sure to drive within you limits here. If you make the car snap on entry because you went in too fast, or go back on throttle too early inducing understeer, you may end up on the ourside curb, which is really high and will beach the car and make you lose multiple seconds.

T17 - Should just be a controlled lift, maybe a slight touch of the brakes. Don't use the inside curb, but do definitely use the outside curb on exit, as there is no track limits set here.
