Setup Notes
Use preload to tune the car to your driving style, but I advise to keep it at a rather high value as provided in the setup for this track.
Higher Preload = Less rotation on entry, more rotation on exit
Lower Preload = More rotation on entry, less rotation on exit
Corner By Corner Driving Guide
T1 - Brake just before the 100m, whilst having your outside tyres put on the outside curb. Go after that inside curb hard, it will help the car to rotate. As much speed as you want to carry through here, remember that T2 is not flat-out in this car, so you don't want to place yourself all the way on the outside out of T1.
T2 - Your throttle pedal is your steering wheel here. Any % you lift of more, the car will turn more. You are already setting up the car for T3 here. The more you lift through 2, the more from the outside you will approach 3, which will help you through there!
T3 - Brake in a straight line, even if your car is not perfectly parallel to the white track lines. Slow downshifts to maintain rear balance. You can use 2nd through here, but rear tyres will more more prone to lock. Keeping 3rd will help that. Once again, you are already setting up the next corner through here. Don't carry all the speed in you can, you want to be on the outside, or at least the middle of the track approaching the upcoming T4.
T4 - Don't turn in too early! The A pillar always hides the curb/apex for us drivers here, so you need to get muscle memory of the timing, as there is little visual guide. General tip: Rather turn-in a bit too late than too early, as hitting that inside anti-cut will really unsettle the car.
T6 - Braking at the 100m board. 2 downshifts to 4th before you properly start to turn-in, then have delayed downshift to 3rd. If you shift to 3rd too early, the rear will lose balance. Really important too keep little brake pressure on here for as long as possible. Too much, and the car wants to spin around, but if you don't give any at all, the car will understeer wide.
T7 - Keep 3rd through here. Don't be afraid of a very slow minimum speed here. If you go in too fast, the rear will become very sketchy. It's all about setting up the exit here. You can run quite wide over the exit curb here too. The game will start a time gain calculation, but it never actually penalises you!
T9 - Early braking, around the 100m board, rather a good bit before. This is not a Formula 1 car, you need to really limit the speed you carry in here. The more you can hook the inside curb, the more the car will have it easier to rotate, but there are some nasty bumps that make it hard to get there. No matter what happens, never lose track of where your car looks to go. Very easy to get a cut detection here on the exit. Looks like you got some understeer? Keep waiting a bit longer before going back to full power!
T10/11/12/13 - Slight braking and downshift to 5th for T10. Do use the inside curb of 11 to make the car rotate. You want to carry speed through here, but don't make T12 too tight of a corner. Whilst you can use the curb to help rotation through T12 too, cut track limits are strict. As the longest straight of the track is coming up, really open up T13. Again, the inside curb will help your rotation, so use it. Plenty of bumps around this corner, so always be prepared that you have to make a small correction because of them.
T15 - 100m board is your brake marker, once again ideally a bit before that. Slow down harder than you may think for this corner. It's not about the speed you carry in, but about hooking the inside of the corner from the apex on, which will enable you to go back to full power way before people that run slightly wide, as they go in too quick!
T16/17 - Again brake slightly before the 100 marker and don't shy away from mounting that inside anti-cut on the T16 apex, the car will take that one just fine. On the other hand through T17, you really do not want at all to touch that one. Unfortunately for optimum lap time, you have to get as close as possible though.
T18 - This is not flat-out! Keep a small lift going for longer than having to do a big abrupt one late.
