Weather: Default (~32° ambient, ~42° track)
Grip: Heavy Preset
Setup Notes
Use the rear anti-roll bar to adjust car balance hotlap vs. long run.
Lower rARB - More peak grip, good over one lap / short stint
Higher rARB - Less peak grip, less rear grip over one lap, but keeps better balance over longer stint
The in the setup set rARB should be fine for stints in the ~20 minutes range, above may needs an increment.
Driving Note
First timed lap is not the fastest here, 2nd and 3rd are, then tyres start to drop slightly.
Corner By Corner Driving Guide
T1 - Use the white line across the track as brake marker. Can use quite some inside curb. Go down to second momentarily for better rotation, but quickly up to 3rd again on exit.
T3 - Rear likes to step out over the big bump, so start braking slightly before it already. Slow downshifts through the corner to maintain rear balance.
T4 - Stay in 3rd! May needs to lift off a tiny bit again off the throttle on exit over the bumps.
T5 - Want to hook the inside cambered part as much as possible without touching the wall. Stay in 2nd!
T6 - Keep a tiny bit of brake applied all through the hairpin to help the car rotate.
T7 - Fastest line is to jump over the inside curb, but the car does bounce a lot doing it. Time loss is minimal going around it, if you don't want the bouncing.
T8 - Rear is always siding a bit on entry and exit here. Be smooth with your inputs to keep it in check.
T9 (Tunnel) - Approach the tunnel kink from all the way on the left, as it is the only possibility to make it flat-out.
T10/T11 - Careful, front wheels like to lock here! Use first momentarily but the right kink. Do not use the yellow sausage curb too much, it can roll the car over!
T12 - Brake as the tarmac changes color and get as close to the inside wall as possible.
T13 - Can be flat-out in quali, but better to lift a bit in the stint, so the walls on exit never come too close.
T14/T15 - 3rd gear for the right kink, then momentarily 2nd gear for the left kink over the anti-cut, with quick upshift again on exit.
T16 - Rears are always locking here a bit, so make sure you brake in a straight line as much as possible.
T17 - Stay in 2nd!
