Data Pack Bundles! 

Creators can now build bundles and add any amount of data packs at their own pricing. Typically this will be car bundles including a variety if not all tracks for that car.

Here's how it works:

• go to https://popometer.io/bundles (Navigation Data Packs -> Hit the Bundle switch!)
• packs you already own will be deducted from the total price as a percentage of the total bundle price (e.g. owning 10 out of 20 packs gives a 50% discount)
• once you purchase the bundle, all data packs in the bundle immediately become yours and you can download the setups and view/compare the data
• overall this will likely be a much cheaper option than individual packs previously

Creators also have the option to already create and sell a bundle, before all data packs exist. This is an attempt to motivate them to keep pushing and fill the bundle quicker once they see the demand.

As with all new features, let us know if you come across any issues and we'll race to fix them.

LFM BOP

Additionally there is a tiny new feature that allows creators to upload laps indicating the custom BOP that was used. This is necessary to keep delivering meaningful laptimes for LFM that is now running their own custom BOP. You can find the values here: https://lowfuelmotorsport.com/seasonsv2/bop

If custom BOP was used for a lap it will be indicated as such:

This will allow you to keep comparing data in the same circumstances as our creators, while practicing in true LFM conditions. Low amounts of kg removed or added will likely not see new lap times provided, as the impact will be minor and irrelevant to the data comparison. Roughly from 10kg onwards creators are encouraged to do new laps.

Spot and address issues

You might have already noticed that your recorder has downloaded an update to version 1.10.

The tool is now capable of recording rfactor 2 telemetry and display everything the same way you are used to from our Assetto Corsa Competizione integration. 

Important:

• In the installation directory of Popometer (AppData/local/popometer/) you will find a popometer_rf2_plugin.dll.
• Please copy this into your rFactor 2 installation folder: \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Bin64\Plugins. 
• Once in the game navigate to the settings and make sure the plugin is set to "on" (if it wasn't you will need to restart the game after activating it).
  
  Now you are set and the laps should pop up in your profile. Make sure you are in the rfactor 2 tab on the main page of our website to see the rf2 laps. Please note that the shared memory has a bit of delay, so the tool will appear to not register the game/track/car until a few seconds onto the track. 
  
  We will create the track maps as data packs are created for them. You will however still be able to see your line and compare it to yourself and others regardless of whether or not the track map has been created. Due to the huge variety in content of rf2 there will likely be inconsistencies in the naming of tracks and cars. Please let us know, so we can merge those data base entries to keep everything clean. Feel free to ping us if you come across any errors so we can address them asap.
