Audi EVO II Safe, Predictable, non Esports, TC optimized Bundle
The packs in this bundle are made by Aidan Walsingham, Nils Naujoks and also incorporates one of little Allen's own creations!
The Bundle is Work in Progress. We're following the LFM Daily Calendar as we complete the rest of the packs. Some packs contain older patch lap times, which will be updated as well. The setups, as they are not exploiting any patch specific issues, will still work. Buying this bundle you gain access to all future packs in this bundle automatically.
A setup & data bundle aiming to revive the Audi EVO II, that has been neglected by fair and large. The main issue resolves around the car having aggressive TC intervention requring the driver to handle the car without Traction Control with esports level setups that make the car very sensitive and easy to run into the TC. However, 99% of people do not drive on esports level and they do not need the last few tenths of potential, that they likely cannot extract anyway. This bundle aims to make the car great to drive which includes giving the car more traction. That approach automatically leads to the TC engaging less likely and also less severely, making the car viable to achieve good laptimes with the TC on. Approach between Aidan and Nils will differ from track to track, but we both have the same idea in mind: A predictable car without excessive over- or understeer, without snappy behavior, with room for error and generally a confidence inspiring ride making the car a partner, rather than an adversary.
The Audi R8 GT3 is a classic by now that exists with minor updates since a full decade. Many Setups available for ACC utilize extreme settings in order to produce fast lap times in the hand of professional simracers, but come at a huge cost for drivability and consistency. The general driving experience does not match how the real car would behave and is more difficult to predict and control, often leading to worse lap times than the driver would be capable of.
The attempt with all setups in this bundle is to provide a unique and enjoyable driving experience in the Audi R8 GT3 EVO II, that allows you to feel on top of the car instead of being on the back foot into every corner. The lap times are often very competitive regardless and we're certain that most people will be faster with these setups than with anything else out there - full stop.
The car generally has a way better front than rear end, making it a handful in high speed turns. With the big engine towards the rear (even if its a "mid-engine"), direction changes often pose a challenge. However taming these traits often comes with the cost of corner speed and unabalanced behavior. By unbalanced I mean: Vastly different tendency to over- or understeer in different driving situations. Balanced then means: Largely the same behavior in a wide range of driving situations, making it more predictable when you can't spend hundreds of hours practicing the car. The latter is what we aim for with each setup on each track in both Quali and Race conditions.
Individual descriptions are in each data pack. As always, feel free to reach out for help or questions.
